This is What It Sounds Like When Butterflies Cry

Below is a statue located in the Muslim nation of Indonesia.  I know it's hard to tell, but it depicts a young Barack Obama brutally attacking a butterfly.  Around his neck is a gold medal that he won from the previous year's butterfly killing competition.  Why does Barack Obama hate butterflies?
