Info Post
Took the wife and youngest daughter to the state capitol today. The eye doctor at the mall. On the way, the mrs. asked to stop at a liquor store. Wow, that's a new one! While I was engaged in the task of choosing a Tennessee whiskey, I listened to her conversation with the proprietors. "I need four cups of red wine or Burgundy."

"We don't sell it in cups ... a bottle?

"Uh, okay.

"What else?"

"I need four tablespoons of brandy."

"Four Tablespoons?"

"Yes, I'm making a pot roast."

We've got a small bottle of cognac here, that's brandy."

"Is it four tablespoons?"

"A bit more, but it's the smallest we have."

"Well, okay. Do you have a non-alcoholic wine?'

I piped up, "That's called grape juice."

Clerk: "We have a low alcohol vodka ..."

Me: "That's called potato juice."

The wife: " Well we're all comedians today, aren't we?"

One of the clerks insisted on carrying our purchase out to the truck, and told us not to waste the Henessey, and that he'd really like to taste the pot roast.

The beginning of a long day, but I really love my girls.
