I Hope it's Better than Yesterday

Yesterday was terrible.  I had the stomach flu, and spent a large amount of time on the toilet.  It caused me to miss work.  And on top of that, when I went to pick up my boys from school, I ran over a small dog.  I stopped to see what happened and the poor thing was just yelping like you would not believe.  For half an hour that went on before it lost consciousness.  We got it to the vet, but I'm not sure how it turned out.  It look like it was injured badly.  I never saw it coming.  It just ran out in front of me.
